Savage “Plinkable”

How do you stop people in their tracks when they are flipping through a serious gun magazine? With a rubber ducky, an apple and a plastic dinosaur! This campaign brought some fun and engaging attention to the lighter side of firearms. Most everyone starts out shooting rimfire rifles so we decided to remind our audience of the good times to be had with pretty much anything lying around the house or at the local thrift shop.

 

How much fun can a small caliber rifle can be? Watch and find out! You don’t need large caliber rifles to have a good time. Get creative, grab some plinkable items and find your own unique targets. Plink on!

Savage “Always in Range”

We originally pitched two campaigns; Plinkable and Always in Range. Savage Arms liked them both so much they asked for both concepts. Always in range grabbed the attention of our off-road and outdoor audience by reminding them with Savage precision, you’re always in range. Our fast-paced commercial spot built excitement around meeting up with your friends/family and going on a plinking adventure.

Our skeleton crew shot both of these commercial spots and a full library of assets for the rimfire rifles while also capturing additional hunting photography in 1.5 days in southern Minnesota. Below is a look at some of the photo assets we knocked off my shotlist while hustling to deliver 2 high-quality rimfire commercials.
